BCN Languages is a Spanish school located in Spain, in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods of Barcelona, Gràcia. It is in the upper-part of the city, just under Gaudi’s famous Parc Güell. Gràcia is an area with its own life, very bohemian and full of workshops bursting with creativity. Here you can find all types of alternative things that cannot be found in other areas of Barcelona. Gràcia is full of life, also from a cultural point of view: lots of events are organized here and the locals love to participate. BCN Languages welcomes you to discover Spain’s culture and language.
Our Spanish school is easily accessible by public transport. You can travel to BCN Languages by metro: the Fontana stop on the green line and the Diagonal stop on the blue line are just 5 minutes walk away. You can also take the FGC (Ferrocarriles Catalanes de la Generalitat) and stop at Gràcia, in the same square where the school is situated (Plaça Gal·la Placídia). Finally, there are numerous bus lines that leave you in front of the school, too. If you’d rather walk, bear in mind that BCN Languages is not far from the city centre: it’s just a 30-minute stroll from Plaça Catalunya.
The school is found on the 1st floor of a building in Plaça Gal.la Placidia, number 22, Barcelona and it has two façades: the main one looks onto the square, and the back one, onto the market, “Mercat de la Llibertat”.
There are 12 classrooms designed for small groups: each classroom is fully equipped and has computers and listening devices. WI-FI is available in the whole of the school. There is a study area where students have computers with internet access at their disposal to use throughout the day. There is a library with a lot of Spanish books and movies that students can borrow and with a lot of extra material for them to self-study while at school. Also, vending machines and a microwave can be used by students between classes.
